The Parish Council manage the Burial Ground on behalf of St James Church. It is now closed to new burials and/or cremations. These currently take place at Quob Lane.

The Cemetery and Memorial Garden are both situated in Quob Lane (just before you go over the motorway bridge travelling from Chapel Road).
NB - It is not permitted to reserve or pre-purchase a grave space or ashes space at Quob Lane Cemetery.
At the time of purchase both new ashes or burial plots are for deceased West End residents only.
Scattering of Ashes on the 'Garden of Reflection'
The scattering of ashes are permitted for both residents and non residents of the West End parish.
Ashes can be scattered at our Quob Lane Cemetery. Unfortunately, you are not allowed to leave memorials or flowers where the ashes are scattered. To do this officially, we have introduced new rules about where and when this can be done.
If you wish to scatter ashes, a fee is chargeable, and the next of kin or executor of their will, needs to complete a request form.
