The Planning & Highways Committee consists of the following members:

The Planning and Highways committee meet on the First Tuesday of each month.
Meetings will commence promptly at 7.15 p.m.
Members of the public are welcome to attend all meetings held at the Parish Centre.
West End Parish Council acts as a statutory consultee in the planning process, meaning the local planning authority (Eastleigh Borough Council) are legally required to notify us of and invite comments on planning applications within the Parish.
The Parish Council are able to provide feedback, local knowledge, and recommendations in the same legal capacity as individual members of the public
Any formal comments from a Parish Council must be debated and agreed upon during a properly called public council meeting.
Parish councils cannot approve or reject planning applications; the final decision rests solely with the local planning authority.
