Every year West End Parish Council allocates money towards a fund which is given out to local community groups and charities. We do this through participatory budgeting which directly involves local people in making decisions on where the funds will be allocated. This helps to bring the community together and encourages local people to become involved with the Parish Council.

We, therefore, invite applications from local groups, charities, etc to apply for a community grant. Once the applications have been received, these will be collated and circulated in the February 2023 Parish Newsletter together with a form for parishioners to vote for the application they consider to be the most worthy cause. Additional voting slips will be available in the Parish Office and there will also be an option to vote online. An announcement on which applications received the most support will be announced in March 2023, date to be confirmed.
