Quob Lane Cemetery Consultation

Shortage of burial space is a national problem, and West End Parish Council has recognised that this issue is now affecting Quob Cemetery. In keeping with other councils, and as part of its due diligence, councillors are actively exploring the options available to overcome this problem and ensure future provision for our residents. We carried out an initial consultation in July, which highlighted that this is an important issue for many in our community, one we are committed to approaching thoroughly and with care.

With that in mind, we will be holding a second, wider consultation to ensure everyone has the opportunity to share their views. This will include reaching out to a range of groups and demographics across our parish, including care homes, faith communities, and residents of all ages. In addition, a consultation leaflet will be distributed to all West End residents so that the whole community can be informed and involved in shaping the way forward.

You can find the second consultation below, it is open from Monday, 13th of October 2025, till Friday, 30th of January 2026 at Midday. If you would prefer to fill in a physical copy please visit the Parish Centre to collect one.
