West End Parish Centre has two halls which can be hired: the Main Hall (with kitchen attached) and Sports Hall. There are 33 parking bays on site plus 2 disabled parking bays.
The Hatch Cafe is also onsite, and can assist with refreshments and catering for small meetings/events. To discuss this further, please contact the Hatch Cafe directly on: 07582 990 363.
Halls Available to Hire
Main Hall (with kitchen attached)
- 80 persons seated (eating)
- 100 persons seated (theatre style)
- 150 persons maximum (standing)
- The hall is unavailable for hire on Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve or New Years Day.
- We regret that we do not hire out the hall for teenage birthday parties (13-19) or 21st birthday parties.
Sports Hall
- 1 marked out badminton court
- No food or drink (other than water bottles) allowed in the Sports Hall.
- The hall is unavailable for hire on Bank Holidays, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year’s Eve or New Years Day.
- We regret that we do not hire out the hall for teenage birthday parties (13-19) or 21st birthday parties.
Booking Details
Available Booking Times
- Bookings must be made at least 14 days before the date of hire
- Earliest time of booking: 8.30am.
- Latest booking time: 10pm.
- The hall must be vacated by 10.30pm prompt. Please include setting up and tidying away times into your booking request.
Payment & Cancellation
- Payment must be made in full at the time of booking. This will include your hall hire charge and the refundable deposit.
- 28 days or more prior to the event: 100% refund
- 27-8 days prior to the event: 50% refund
- 7 days or less prior to the event: No refund
Use of Inflatables
- If your event will include the use of inflatables - we no longer need a copy of any paperwork but we advise you obtain a copy of the Public Liability Insurance Certificate from the company you are using, we suggest ensuring the certificate is up to date, covers the date of your event and has a minimum liability cover of £1,000,000.
- Please be aware hirers using inflatables do so at their own risk, the Parish Council will accept no responsibility for any accidents occurring from the use of inflatables at any of its premises.
- Maximum height for inflatables in the Main Hall at the Parish Centre is 3 metres.
